The anti mix-up system consists of a specific application to be installed on board terminals with codes scanner, suitable for reading different types of codes, in this case Zebra TC-26.
The application manages recipes (create, delete, modify, “Upload to Terminal”), composed by a list of codes with relative type and content.
Once a recipe has been set/selected, the manual scanner can be activated for reading the codes. If the code corresponds in type and content to one of those set in the recipe, the terminal turns on the GREEN light; otherwise, the terminal vibrates and the RED light turns on.
It is possible to implement a specific AND function, which allows to read up to 5 different codes. The application accepts the transaction only if all codes are read and they all correspond to the selected recipe. If they are not read correctly or do not correspond to the recipe, the system arrests the process.
